After constant weeks of testing, Facebook owned photo-sharing platform, Instagram has now launched a new feature which allows its users to go live together with a friend. Instagram said in its blog post “Starting today, we are introducing a fun way to go live with a friend. Now, you can hang out and go live together, whether you’re just doing homework or catching up on your day.”

To use this new feature users have to tap the icon at the bottom right and then choose “Add” for inviting anyone who is presently watching. As soon as they join your screen shall split in two – one of your friend and another one yours. You can also remove guest and add someone else at any point of time. However, they can also choose to exit on their own also.

How would you know that someone you follow is going live with a friend??

Well, when someone whom you follow is going live with a friend, then, you will notice in the stories bar section two circles stacked together.

This update is available as a part of Instagram version 20 on App store and Android in Google Play.
